Introduction to U.S. Sales and Use Taxes

This course has been designed as an introduction to the sales and use taxes imposed within the United States for Canadian clients that have operations within the United States. Our presentation will cover the history, administration, tax functions, local taxes, industry applications and some of the major issues related to the complexity of these sales and use taxes and will include information on opportunities for organizations to minimize their tax burden. In addition, course participants will receive a brief summary of the services provided by Ryan to assist businesses with the minimization of U.S. state and local taxes.
